Job Summary
This position is responsible for reception desk and administrative responsibilities with the Department of Psychology, located at DEG 435. Each member of the office staff is expected to uphold confidentiality with respect to all privileged communications and records. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones and greeting guests in a professional manner, assisting with making copies and scanning documents including exams, providing support to faculty/staff, and helping with departmental activities/events as needed. Federal Work Study Required.
Job Duties:
• Answer main office phone
• Greet visitors and students
• Respond to inquiries and direct to appropriate faculty/staff
• Copy/Scan documents as needed and make copies of exams for faculty
• Proctor make-up exams in main office
• Maintain office duties as necessary
• Ensure common areas are kept clean/organized
• Provide administrative support to faculty/staff
• Assist with miscellaneous projects/tasks as assigned
• Perform other duties/functions where necessary

Pay Rate
$15.00/hour

Work Hours
10 hours per week. M/W between 8am-2pm and all day on Fridays.
