Job Summary
This position supports the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Planning, across several business areas. The student assistant will engage with senior leaders on projects of critical importance to the University, such as the implementation of a new financial planning system, a variety of business process improvement engagements, and preparing for high-level leadership meetings and retreats. Students in this position can expect to learn on the job, adding significant skills and abilities to their resumes.

Pay Rate
$16.00/hour - $18.00/hour

Work Hours
Up to 20 hours per week. The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Planning is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Student schedules will vary by semester based on your course schedule.

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review, based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation and/or an employment history review. Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
