Job Summary
The Director of Student Health Services provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, executive management, and supervision of a comprehensive student health services department.
The Student Health Services portfolio includes a comprehensive on-campus clinic (including laboratory and radiology units), pharmacy unit, health information management unit and student insurance office. The program includes specialty areas such as dietician, case management and psychiatry support (including an external agreement with a local hospital provider).
The Director leads strategic planning, goal setting, assessment initiatives, and is responsible for all financial management activities including budgeting, expenditure analysis, revenue generation and reporting.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$135,000
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in health care administration, public administration, business administration, nursing, or a related area.
2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in administration in university-based student health services department.
3. Demonstration of strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
4. Demonstrated personnel experience including administrative and medical personnel.
5. Demonstrated experience in programs and activities to maintain accreditation – Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or higher in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration or a related area.
2. Knowledge and experience in budgeting, group insurance plans, information privacy laws, access, release of information, and release control technologies.
3. Demonstrated leadership with risk management, quality control and emergency preparation programs.
4. Demonstrated experience with systems and platforms including electronic medical records, budget manager, Office365 suite and others as needed.
5. Medical facility management experience including operations and renovations.
6. Experience with collective bargaining processes.
Work Hours
Generally Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate.

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

2. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
3. Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
