Job Summary
The Business Information Systems Manager provides oversight and leadership of fFacilities Iinformation Sservices.
- Analyzes projects to develop project plans and provides all aspects of data management and analysis in support of the business intelligence environment.
-Gathers and analyzes business requirements utilizing project management methodologies.
-Analyzes and refines business processes in both the current state and future state.
- Assists in developing strategic communication and providing supporting communication materials for the department.
Each of these tasks requires a high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
The individual will achieve these results through project management, research skills, data analysis, and communication.
This position works collaboratively with Facilities Services Units, the Office the Vice President for Finance and Planning, vendors and campus partners.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$70,000 - $85,000/year based on experience
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, IT Management, Programmer, IT Systems or related degree (verify with transcript).
2. At least five (5) years of full time (or part time equivalent) professional level work experience as an Application Administrator or lead operational role in business and/or technology systems such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Electronic Access or similar IT systems, with project management experience in leading and managing projects throughout the project life cycle from initiation to closure. Three (3) years of the professional level work experience must have included supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with information technology systems such as WebTMA, 25Live, and Business Intelligence tools. As well as experience utilizing and managing GIS systems.
Work Hours
Core work hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

3. Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
