Job Summary
Redbird Athletics is part of the Missouri Valley Conference and is an NCAA Division I Institution. This position is a part of the Athletic Performance department. The specific duties of the position will tentatively include: 1. Assist the Athletic Performance staff in developing and administering all phases of speed, strength and conditioning programs to 17 varsity sports 2. Develop and implement annual training programs for select varsity sports as assigned by the Director of Athletic Performance. This entails direct interaction and collaboration with the assigned sport's coaching staff to ensure the team’s needs are met by the training program developed. 3. Perform guided research and study in all aspects of the profession 4. Other duties as assigned. As a part of your responsibilities, you will follow the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football conference, the Athletics Department, and Illinois State University..

1. 2 years of related experience within D1 Intercollegiate Athletics.
2. Completion of the NCSA certification exam.
