The Autism Professional Learning and Universal Supports (A+) project at Illinois State University plays a vital role in addressing the significant behavior needs of children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related behavior and communication disorders, in collaboration with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). As the number of children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder continues to increase, so does the need for specially trained staff.
