Job Summary
This position provides operational, client, and programmatic support for the directors of the Center for Integrated Professional Development (CIPD), working primarily with Center staff to plan programming and with other university personnel who come to CIPD for professional development.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$17.70 - $18.35 per hour
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Any one or combination totaling two years (24 months) from the categories below:
a. College coursework in any curriculum, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one year (12 months)
- Associate’s degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen (18) months
- 90 semester hours equals two years (24 months)
- Bachelor’s degree (120 semester hours) equals three years (36 months)
b. Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems. - One year (12 months) of work experience comparable to the second level of this series.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and to take responsibility for planning projects and seeing them through to completion
- Interpersonal and telephone etiquette
- Familiarity with procedures for providing operational, client, and programmatic supports
- Familiarity with University offices, units, forms, and procedures
- Proofreading and editing skills
- Skilled in working with the M365 suite, including Word, Excel, One Drive, and Outlook
Work Hours
8:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday

- Effectively communicate on a daily basis.

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score.
