Job Summary
The marketing unit of the Office of Technology Solutions is responsible for increasing awareness of Tech Solutions across campus, particularly promoting the solutions and services of our department in general and a few specific areas, including TechZone and the Technology Support Center. Marketing assistants/writers would assist with the following responsibilities:
1. Develop content for social media platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, and X).
2. Research emerging trends in social media and how we can implement them in our own posts.
3. Research, conduct interviews as needed, and write articles for publication on the News website.
4. Provide photography, video, and minimal graphic design support (in-app or on a program like Canva) when necessary.
5. Help plan and execute general outreach events and our inventory of promotional items.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
