Job Summary
This position works closely with the Manager of Trademark Licensing and Project Communications in enforcing University graphic standards on products for internal and external use, utilizing those products to enhance the University brand, building and maintaining relationships with external partners to promote those products, and assisting with the creation of online marketing pieces and mass email communications. The position also manages the trademark licensing Instagram account and partners with ISU Athletics and CLC (the University's licensing agency) on social media and digital marketing efforts, product development, special events, and brand education/awareness. The GA is also the primary manager of a group of four undergraduate social influencers on campus as part of the Redbird Reps program.

Required Qualifications
1. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf
2. Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University within the School of Communication, College of Business or pursuing a degree in Sports Management.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Understanding of sports and university marketing and related product marketplace.
2. Ability to participate as a team member in the creation of graphic designs for print, web, multimedia and various physical products utilizing the appropriate software.
3. Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong writing abilities and an understanding of AP style.
5. Proficiency in social media marketing and online communications.
6. Experience with photography a plus.

The expectation for this assistantship is to begin working at the end of May as an hourly student worker.
