Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution, member of the Missouri Valley Conference invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Redbird Productions within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State’s Graduate School.

The Accessibility Assistant will be responsible for remediating documents and applying alt-text to images to ensure digital accessibility compliant with mandated standards, as well as administering the Center’s account on a crowdsource platform for transcription of handwritten materials.

The Scholarly Communication Unit supports and promotes research produced at Illinois State University and oversees the institutional repository, ISU ReD. The Accessibility Assistant will be responsible for remediating documents in ISU ReD to ensure digital accessibility.

The Division of Student Affairs Professional Development & Recognition Graduate Assistant works closely with the Associate Director for Professional Development & Staff Recognition. This Graduate Assistant position is multi-faceted and will be responsible for various projects and assignments connected to professional development, recognition ceremonies, and cultural competence training facilitated within the Division of Student Affairs.

The primary responsibility of the Standardized Patient is to portray the characteristics of a real patient, simulating all aspects of the created scenarios, primarily in the simulated in-patient setting including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner. Scenario facts must be accurately memorized, retained, and portrayed. Scenarios may be audio and videotaped for evaluative purposes. Multiple opportunities exist with flexible schedules.
