Milner Library’s Scholarly Communication Unit is hiring an extra help Accessibility Assistant. The Scholarly Communication Unit supports and promotes research produced at Illinois State University and oversees the institutional repository, ISU ReD. The Accessibility Assistant will be responsible for remediating documents in ISU ReD to ensure digital accessibility.

The Career Advising Graduate Assistant will advise and provide career-related assistance to IllinoisState University students and provide administrative and strategic support to uphold the objectives ofCareer Services. Additionally, the CAGA will support all Career Services initiatives and represent CareerServices at university-sponsored events.

The Curriculum Development Graduate Assistant will assist their director supervisor and the Student Relations Team in achieving the mission, vision, and goals of Career Services. The GA will beresponsible for the duties listed below in addition to other duties assigned.

The majority of the graduate teaching assistants primary duties are in support of instruction including but not limited to the responsibilities below: 1. Serve as a primary or secondary teaching instructor in a class or laboratory; 2. Assist a faculty member with teaching-related tasks; 3. Grade student assignments which require knowledge of subjects taught in a class or laboratory; 4. Meet with and/or tutor students, mentor students in disciplinary writing, hold office hours, prepare instructional materials, and assist during class and/or lab.

Graduate Teaching Assistants are responsible for the instruction of courses in the School of Kinesiology & Recreation.

College Coaches play a critical role in the success of the two-week Summer Immersion Program, held on ISU’s campus, from Saturday, May 30, 2026 to Saturday, June 13, 2026. The College Coach serves as a supportive and caring staff member, models appropriate and collegiate behavior, co-facilitates college prep or life skills workshops, tutors the Scholars and encourages successful learning practices.

Overnight Staff play a critical role in the success of the two-week Summer Immersion Program, held on ISU’s campus. Overnight Staff are responsible for supervision of the Scholars between 11:30PM and 6:30AM from Saturday, May 30, 2026 to Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Serve as the Student Counseling Services Relaxation Room GA. Provide anxiety reducing information to clients in the relaxation room and facilitate outreach services as needed.
