Job Summary
The Summer Conference Representative is tasked with assisting the Student Development/Summer Conferences area with the closure and opening of the summer conferences season. This position would not be front facing to clients but would offer background support for front facing staff. The position would involve clerical work and data entry, inventory, and creating customer service initiatives.
Summer Conference Representative Responsibilities:
1. Track payments in summer conference management system
2. Upload new requests for summer conference housing and prepare appropriate paperwork
3. Run monthly reports of requests, revenue, and spaces used to share with key stakeholders`.
4. Assist with billing process of UHS Conference Room Spaces.
5. Conduct inventory of summer conference supplies as needed and provide information on restock needed.
6. Create customer service initiatives to be used in the summer with conference guests.
7. Present a good image of Illinois State University. Assist in setting a standard of customer service excellence for guests and visitors.
8. Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay Rate
$15.00/hour
Required Qualifications

- 2.4 cumulative grade point average at time of application.

Work Hours
UHS office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, not to exceed 10 hours per week
