Job Summary
Graduate to assist faculty in variety of activities associated with research projects. The research will be related to the areas of public health, specifically environmental health and air quality. The GA will assist faculty with data collection, data analysis with SPSS and Excel, and outreach and educational activities with local schools and community centers. In addition, the GA will conduct preliminary studies with primary data and secondary data to explore the association between air quality and population diseases, such as asthma, at local, regional, or national levels. The GA is expected to present research results at the University Research Symposium in Spring 2026 and at one state or regional conference.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$1510 Monthly Stipend
Required Qualifications
1. Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University admitted in the MPH-ACED program.
2. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf
