Job Summary
The Instructional Coach for University High School will provide leadership in professional development; manage standards and standards-based assessment process; support teachers with Tier 1 instruction assessment and curriculum; is responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction in classrooms.
Duties will include:
1. Providing comprehensive coaching to teacher
2. Providing professional development to tenured and pre-tenured Faculty Associates
3. Serve as the test coordinator for AP tests
4. Perform as point person for all research occurring at University High School.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$42,417 - $83,020
Required Qualifications
1. Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, School Leadership, or related area
2. Illinois Professional Educator License
3. At least five years of experience teaching
4. Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, collaborative and organizational skills
5. Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
6. Robust knowledge of instructional methods, standards-based grading and curriculum development
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in instructional coaching or teacher leadership
Work Hours
Generally Monday - Friday, school hours with occasional work beyond regular school hours.
