Job Summary
Graduate Assistants in CAST Connections, support and execute the programs, services, and outreach efforts of CAST Connections. These programs include:
a. CASTing Change, a service learning program for students to engage in a social impact
b. Personal development sessions, monthly group meetings for students
c. Assisting with academic concerns. This includes follow-up with students, assisting and following up with reports to the academic advisors and documentation/tracking of efforts
d. Supporting marketing efforts by highlighting events, students, and programs via university calendar, Redbirdlife and other internal communications outlets
Additional Information
This position may also complete benchmarking research on programs, and supports offered elsewhere. Graduate Assistants may also assist in the preparation of the CAST Connections assessment plan. In executing the duties of this position, the Graduate Assistant supports the goals and objectives of CAST.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$1510 for 0.5 FTE appointment

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
