Job Summary
Duties/responsibilities for these positions include but are not limited to:
1. Maintenance of the PSPA Lab and associated equipment
2. Assistance with practical programming for the EIMOC program and PSPA Lab community partners
3. Participate in HIPAA and privacy training as well as training for electronic medical software
4. Conduct intake sessions to assess physical activity levels and/or sport participation, goals and barriers, and medical history
5. Develop individualized exercise and/or sport performance programming and client training protocols
6. Assist with planning and implementation of outreach activities
7. Serve as a student member of ISU's EIMOC team
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$755 for 0.25 FTE appointment; $1510 for 0.5 FTE appointment.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Enrolled in the master’s degree program in the School of Kinesiology and Recreation as a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University
3. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
2. Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
3. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
4. Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects.
