Electrician: CREATING POOL OF APPLICANTS FOR PERMANENT AND EXTRA HELP

The Department of Electrical Engineering in the new College of Engineering at Illinois State University invites applications for one open rank tenure-track position beginning August 2026. We are seeking qualified experts in Computer Networks, Computer Organization, Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Privacy, Edge/Fog/GPU Computing, High Performance Computing, Internet of Things, and related areas.

1. Collect, segregate, inventory and prepare for disposal of the hazardous waste collected on campus. 2. Prepare periodic reports, inventory reports, inspection reports and general correspondence. 3. Perform weekly compost monitoring at the ISU Farm. 4. Certify chemical fume hoods by checking face velocities annually. 5. Perform other duties as assigned.

The Graduate Assistant will primarily manage one program area (trips, climbing wall, or equipment rental operations).

Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher, providing academic classroom instruction for students in the absence of the regular teacher.

The Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) provides year-round leadership and direction for one or more residence halls/buildings.

The Service Area Coordinator (SAC) provides leadership and administration for student workers within an area of campus housing.

The School of Communication at Illinois State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position specializing in sports communication and strategic communication, beginning August 2026.
