The Honors Program is looking for engaging and motivated Instructional Assistant Professors to teach the Honors Mindset Seminar (HMS). HMS is a 1-hour class designed to introduce first-year Honors students to the Honors Program and to help them develop an Honors Mindset. This is a part-time, non-tenure-track appointment. The Special Education Department at Illinois State University is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar to coordinate research and education activities. The Postdoctoral Scholar’s research responsibilities will include overseeing recruitment, data collection, and data analysis; co-authoring manuscripts and presentations; designing and conducting original research that aligns with the aims of the project; and mentoring doctoral and undergraduate research assistants. The education activities will include overseeing the development and implementation of a case library and case-based learning modules.

This position is an integral part of our dining operations staff. Led by experienced culinary professionals, we offer staff the opportunity to work in newly-renovated facilities and are committed to using quality ingredients and processes. This position plays an integral role in accomplishing this goal by utilizing a broad range of culinary skills and equipment to prepare fresh and delicious menu items. Our culinary staff frequently participates in display cooking, utilizing woks, salad preparation, grilling, and pizza making to enhance our customers' experience.

This position initiates product production by procuring par levels from Assistant Chef, calculates/converts recipe ingredients to meet necessary par levels, gathers and stores all ingredients for production, follows complex large batch recipes and cooking instructions while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

This position supports the daily operations of the Office of Parking and Transportation. Duties are clerical in nature. Shifts will take place between 8am to 5pm.

Weld, braze, and solder, in order to physically maintain and repair chillers, boilers, pumps, air conditioning and related equipment pertinent to the heating, cooling and ventilation of campus buildings.

This position is responsible for managing and supporting the Residential Life Operations unit within University Housing Services, including supervision of para-professional (student staff), supporting departmental recruitment/hiring efforts, and managing administrative duties for the Associate Director of Residential Operations and Assistant Director of Assignments. They supervise the student receptionist in the Office of Residential Life which includes the departments phone switchboard and Housing email box.

The Student Technology Specialist role will primarily be responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting all technology equipment that has been sent to surplus.
