Job Summary
We're seeking enthusiastic students to become Financial Literacy Peer Educators. In this role, you'll play a vital part in empowering your fellow students to make informed financial decisions. You'll work on a dynamic team to develop engaging financial literacy materials, receive in-depth training on facilitation skills, and deliver workshops across campus to a diverse range of students.
• Collaborate with the team to create educational resources on topics such as budgeting, saving, managing debt, and understanding credit.
• Participate in comprehensive training to develop strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Conduct lively and informative financial literacy workshops for various student groups on campus.
• Promote financial literacy events and resources across the university.
• Provide support and guidance to fellow students on their financial wellness journeys.

Pay Rate
$16.00/hour
Required Qualifications
• Current ISU student in good academic standing.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong interest in financial literacy and helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
• Passion for promoting financial responsibility and wellbeing among your peers.
• Some exposure to financial literacy, such as BE/FIL 141 or financial planning minor is a plus, but not required.
Work Hours
Work hours will vary each week as determined by the project leaders, usually around ten hours per week.

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review, based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation and/or an employment history review.
