Job Summary
The learning and development intern will serve the campus through assisting in multiple facets with campus training and learning initiatives, including the collection and cataloging of training materials, assistance on-site with training presentations, and meetings and dialogues to develop new offerings. This position will also support our Time Reporting and Approval initiatives on a twice-monthly basis.

Pay Rate
$15/hour
Required Qualifications
- Active student at ISU in Business, Communication, or related discipline.
- Available throughout the summer of 2025 and Fall for minimum number of hours for internship (approx. 180 total)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior training experience or experience with presentations.
- HR experience
- Ongoing interest in fall/spring employment beyond the internship
Work Hours
Uniquely aligned with payroll cycles at Illinois State University and around the New Employee Onboarding/Orientation program. Mornings are preferred, and we will work with student class schedules as much as possible.
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without reasonable accommodations:
Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
Ability to work with captioning training videos and making materials universally accessible.
Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
