In anticipation of possible openings in the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University throughout the academic year and summer sessions, a pool of qualified persons interested in the undergraduate non-tenure-track teaching positions is maintained. Applications are accepted continuously for non-tenure-track positions and reviewed as vacancies become available.

The primary responsibility of the Standardized Patient is to portray the characteristics of a real patient, simulating all aspects of the created scenarios, primarily in the simulated in-patient setting including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner. Scenario facts must be accurately memorized, retained, and portrayed. Scenarios may be audio and videotaped for evaluative purposes. Multiple opportunities exist with flexible schedules.
