Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is the largest student employer at Illinois State University. The Director of Development serves as the development liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences (the College) and represents the College in pursuing major gifts (funding commitments of $25,000 or more made via outright, pledged, or planned gift arrangements). The individual holding this position will develop and execute strategies and plans to cultivate, solicit, and secure major gifts and qualify new major gift prospects. The individual will work in close collaboration with the Dean of the College and will work as needed with other administrators, faculty, and staff of the College. As appropriate, the individual will collaborate with other development officers working on behalf of Illinois State University's other colleges and administrative units.

This position also assists in maintaining a friendly and orderly environment in the dining room by greeting customers as they enter, assisting with questions and service needs, and performing other customer service tasks, such as clearing tables and restocking condiments.

Illinois State University is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and strategic IT professional to join our team as a Business Process Engineer. This position plays a critical role in creating efficiencies in existing processes and new opportunities for the university to engage alumni and raise money for student scholarships and program support in the Division of University Advancement.

The Premium Events Coordinator will assist the Director of Premium Events with planning, scheduling, organizing, staffing, and managing assigned premium events and activities. This role includes coordinating events utilizing premium athletic spaces such as Hancock Stadium, CEFCU Arena, OSF Athletics Training Center and other Athletic facilities. Premium events may include weddings, staff meetings, and similar functions.

This position plays an integral role in EMDH by contributing to the fiscal management of the department through a variety of accounting tasks such as processing data, monitoring and reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.
