This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State’s Graduate School.

The Special Education Department at Illinois State University is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar to coordinate research and education activities. The Postdoctoral Scholar’s research responsibilities will include overseeing recruitment, data collection, and data analysis; co-authoring manuscripts and presentations; designing and conducting original research that aligns with the aims of the project; and mentoring doctoral and undergraduate research assistants. Audio Production Interns primarily assist the WGLT staff with producing content related to our signature reporting series SOUND IDEAS and other programs.

Student will work with all members of the station’s news team. Responsibilities may include covering news events, capturing photos and/or sound assets at those events; and writing stories for on air and digital platforms.
