Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is the largest student employer at Illinois State University. Students in this position will be expected to provide general maintenance support in residence halls, including moving furniture and loading and unloading trucks, and possibly assisting with fire watch duty.

College Coaches play a critical role in the success of the two-week Summer Immersion Program, held on ISU’s campus, from Saturday, May 30, 2026 to Saturday, June 13, 2026. The College Coach serves as a supportive and caring staff member, models appropriate and collegiate behavior, co-facilitates college prep or life skills workshops, tutors the Scholars and encourages successful learning practices.

Overnight Staff play a critical role in the success of the two-week Summer Immersion Program, held on ISU’s campus. Overnight Staff are responsible for supervision of the Scholars between 11:30PM and 6:30AM from Saturday, May 30, 2026 to Saturday, June 13, 2026.
