This position manages and supports the ongoing configuration and maintenance of line of business applications for the Event Management, Dining and Hospitality.
The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is one of 13 departments within the Division of Student Affairs. It provides the campus community and guests with high-quality, efficient, and innovative event services and dining options in a variety of settings dedicated to accentuating and enhancing the campus experience in a diverse community.
This position may also assist in other tasks that require manual labor, including storage of food and kitchen equipment.
This position trains and coordinates the work performance of student employees and Culinary Assistants in the areas of guest relations, dining room service, and line service. Persons in this position also manage the point of sales procedures.
This position is responsible for the successful execution of all events that are catered by Illinois State University Catering. Assume responsibility for all personnel functions, budget, strategic planning, food safety, and presentation standards for catering operations.
This position manages the technical operations of the Bone Student Center (BSC), including the oversight of performances and event technical needs, maintaining a training program for student stage hands, and supervision of IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists & Allied Crafts) personnel.
