This position offers valuable hands-on experience for students interested in entertainment, event management, hospitality, and facility operations. The experience includes advising students and supervising the successful operation of events. The role is designed to foster both academic and professional development through active involvement in event coordination, customer service, and venue operations.

The Marketing and Communications Graduate Assistant assists with developing and implementingCareer Services’ marketing and communication plans to promote the department’s events, services, andresources to multiple audiences. This position provides an opportunity to assist with a variety ofmarketing and communication initiatives including advertising, promotions, social media, video creation,media relations, and marketing and communication planning. Additionally, the Graduate Assistant willhave an opportunity to expand communication and writing skills by applying classroom theory andtechniques to practical hands-on experiences.

The graduate assistant will work under the supervision of the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. Responsibilities will focus on events and program management.

Graduate research assistants are generally assigned to individual faculty members to assist with their research, and the majority of the assigned duties are tied to this research. Must be a degree seeking graduate student in Hydrogeology Master's program at Illinois State University.

The position helps to market and communicate on behalf of the Alumni Association. Responsibilities include social media content development (video and text), writing, marketing research, basic design, and other communication efforts.

Certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing who will work with students through the Heart of Illinois Low Incidence (HILIA) program. The certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will provide instruction for students with hearing loss in a variety of classroom settings.

The Lab School Coach is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the program in accordance with Laboratory Schools and IHSA/IESA policies.

The primary responsibility of the Standardized Patient is to portray the characteristics of a real patient, simulating all aspects of the created scenarios, primarily in the simulated in-patient setting including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner. Scenario facts must be accurately memorized, retained, and portrayed. Scenarios may be audio and videotaped for evaluative purposes. Multiple opportunities exist with flexible schedules.

Serve as a Daily Rate Substitute Teacher, providing academic classroom instruction for students in the absence of the regular teacher. Metcalf Laboratory School is a service unit of the College of Education of Illinois State University. It offers a comprehensive program of instruction for 400+ students in grades PreK-8.
