Job Summary
This position supports the guidance and education of graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology, providing diagnosis and treatment across the scope of practice (i.e., speech, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing disorders). He/she provides direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of student skills and competencies, participates in the implementation of curriculum delivery as needed, and contributes to all other department functions through participation on Committees.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$58,500 - $60,300/ Annually
Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience providing professional services in public or private settings for clients ranging from children to adults.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
4. Illinois License in Speech-Language Pathology.
5. Illinois Professional Educator license in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
6. Ability to counsel parents, spouses, caregivers, and patients
7. Ability to facilitate learning and growth in students
8. Ability to work with other professionals
Work Hours
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinical days may extend until 6:00 PM twice weekly.
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
