Job Summary
University College is seeking a qualified applicant to support data analysis for the division-wide Assessment Plan. This position will primarily support the summation of data for University College Assessment Plan from May 15 to June 30. Other duties may include following up with students via phone or email regarding retention related concerns.
Specific duties to include:
1. Assist the University College in collecting data for unit Key Performance Indicators as outlined in the Strategic Plan.
a. Assist with interpretation and summarization of data
b. Summarize both qualitative and quantitative data from surveys, queries, attendence, etc.
2. Be able to create and maintain spreadsheets for data analysis, data collection, and documentation.
3. Follow up with student retention related inquiries via email or phone as needed.

Required Qualifications
1. Experience in data collection and analysis
2. Attention to detail
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
4. Excellent Excel skills
5. Ability to summarize large amounts of information to key points of interest
6. General computer knowledge and competence
Must be available to work between May 15 and June 30, 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Graduate or Doctoral level student
2. Applicants in the following graduate programs will be given preference: BIS Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science and Computational Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics.
Work Hours
Between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. May 15 to June 30, 2025.
