This position is an integral part of our dining operations staff. Led by experienced culinary professionals, we offer staff the opportunity to work in newly-renovated facilities and are committed to using quality ingredients and processes. This position plays an integral role in accomplishing this goal by assisting Culinary Associates in the preparation and service of food in residential dining centers. This position also assists in maintaining a friendly and orderly environment in the dining room by greeting customers as they enter, assisting with questions and service needs, and performing other customer service tasks, such as clearing tables and restocking condiments.

Primary duties include: teaching Group Piano classes for majors/non-majors; weekly office hours in the Group Piano Lab; and other assistance as needed in the keyboard area.

Duties/responsibilities may include but are not limited to: performing as an Accompanist/Opera Coach; performing with large ensembles; other accompanying duties as needed in the School of Music.

Primary duties will include: assisting with the administration of a comprehensive university orchestral program; serving as assistant conductor for the Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra; and serving as assistant conductor for the Illinois State University Opera and Musical Theatre Productions.

Duties will include: instruction of music minors/studio overload; assist with Percussion Techniques Class and Master Class; drum set instruction at all levels; assist with the ISU Big Red Marching Machine Drum line; conduct and coach Percussion Ensemble; assist with administrative aspects of a comprehensive Percussion Program.
