Job Summary
In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the Creative Technologies program invites a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track teaching positions. Applications are accepted continuously for non-tenure-track positions and reviewed as vacancies become available. There may not be an actual vacancy at the time you apply.
Primary areas in need of coverage include game development, web development, virtual and augmented reality, interactive design, music production, graphic design, video production, animation, computer programming, and basic skills in the digital arts.

THE PROGRAM IN CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
The Creative Technologies program at Illinois State University is an interdisciplinary program that equips students with the knowledge to explore the intersection of various digital media forms, including animation, motion graphics, digital storytelling, sound design, game development, interactive installations, virtual reality, and more. Students engage in hands-on projects, collaborate with peers, and learn from experienced faculty who are experts in their respective fields. Through a combination of technical training and artistic expression, the Creative Technologies program prepares students for careers in the rapidly evolving fields of digital media, where they can apply their imaginative ideas and technical expertise to create immersive and visually captivating experiences.

1. Bachelor's degree in related field.
2. Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in related field.
2. Expertise in any of the following fields - game development, web development, virtual and augmented reality, interactive design, music production, graphic design, video production, animation, computer programming, and basic skills in the digital arts.
3. Teaching experience.
