The School of Information Technology seeks qualified candidates for a full-time, nine-month non-tenure track faculty position. Individuals will teach four classes each semester and perform other teaching support duties as assigned. Candidates interested in teaching introduction to programming strongly encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related area.
2. Must be able to teach Java programming.
3. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.

Desired Qualifications

1. PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related area.
2. Ability to teach cybersecurity courses.
3. Experience teaching technology-related courses at the university level.
4. Two or more years’ experience working in software development.
