This position is responsible for the cleaning of all designated interior spaces, and set-ups and take downs for events.
Ewing Cultural Center is owned and operated by the Illinois State University Foundation.
High School graduation or equivalent.
Ability to comprehend written and oral instruction necessary for learning cleaning procedures, setups/tear downs or any other function related to the job.
Work up to 24.75 hours per week.
Hours will be determined upon hire. Hours will be between 8:00 - 4:00, Monday - Friday.
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Ability to walk and stand for 5-6 hours per day.
2. Ability to lift 35 lbs.
3. Ability to push/pull up to 35 lbs.
4. Ability to bend, stoop, twist; ability to climb ladders and stairs; ability to work above shoulder level for periods of time; ability to work around dust, fumes, and environmental irritants.
