This tenure-track position will also play a central role in developing some additional offerings that integrate hip-hop culture, history, and creative practice with critical inquiry and emerging creative technologies, including AI, as tools for artistic expression, pedagogy, and research.

On-Air Student Hosts/Announcers host WGLT programs, either live or with pre-recorded breaks (voicetracks), under the supervision of WGLT's Program Director. Student Hosts/Announcers will use a combination of pre-built elements to build scripts for each break, then deliver that break in-studio. The position will be regularly evaluated ("airchecked") to ensure quality control.
