The Accountant II will be primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining financial data in alignment with GASB/GAAP policies, reviewing and approving accounts payable transactions, working with university partners on accounting issues, providing support for reconciling general ledger accounts, and performing other functions that support the operation of the Business Office.

University Advancement at Illinois State University seeks a Director of Development for the College of Education and Laboratory Schools. Housed within the Development-Fundraising department, this position is responsible for cultivating and securing major gifts of $25,000 or more through strategic engagement with alumni and supporters. The Director will work in close partnership with the Dean and collaborate across the University to advance the College’s mission and priorities. The role requires frequent travel and occasional evening and weekend activities.

Primary responsibilities will center on managing various budgets, analyzing data, and generating reports and spreadsheets.
